Nearby Surat Thani Airport (URT) on the mainland is serviced by daily flights from Bangkok on Thai Airways and Orient Thai Airlines. Regular ferry transfers connect Surat Thani to Koh Samui’s main pier at Nathon.
Please note that Bangkok’s Don Muang International Airport services certain domestic flights, while Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport remains Bangkok’s gateway for all international flights. Passengers on flights to and from Bangkok should therefore confirm their airport of departure/arrival when making transfers or arranging pick-ups in Bangkok.
